About the Event
Step into an unforgettable evening at Nickerson-Rossi's Dance House, where NRD’s Pre-Professional Program showcases the next generation of talent in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. This thrilling program features choreography by Academy Faculty Hailee Mitchell, Corey Levine, and Cristina McKeever-Chaney, Ballet Variations constructed by Ellen Rosa-Taylor, Commercial Jazz choreography by Chad Allen Ortiz, and a student work in progress with modern choreography by Vincenza Gist, mentored by Artistic Director Michael Nickerson-Rossi.
Adding to the excitement, students from Palm Desert Charter Middle School will perform new work by Michael Nickerson-Rossi and Chad Allen Ortiz, created during their weeklong residency directed by Whitney Rosam.
Additionally, Sunday’s matinee will award summer scholarship training to partner programs, highlighting the promising future of these young dancers!
