Nickerson-Rossi Dance is seeking to raise $50,000
to continue the build-out of the Nickerson-Rossi Dance Theater to make it a full-fledged,
state-of-the-art dance theatre - the only of its kind in the Coachella Valley.
With the world shutting its doors during the pandemic, a big question floated over the arts community, “how will dance survive?” In response to this question, Nickerson-Rossi Dance made the decision to move to Palm Springs, California to become full-time community members and built a brand new dance facility. What started as a humble 2,000 sq ft building, the Palm Springs Dance Academy was born in 2020. Rapidly gaining momentum, Nickerson-Rossi Dance decided to take another leap of faith when the building next door became available - expanding the facility to 6,000 sq ft.
With limited resources, a small budget, a lingering pandemic, and blood, sweat, and (many) tears, Nickerson-Rossi Dance made what felt impossible - a reality.
We are now reaching out to the Coachella Valley Community Members to continue taking us to the next level by raising $50,000 for the Nickerson-Rossi Dance Theater Build-Out.
